BIOGRAPHY
Linus Barta, born 1987 in Bregenz is an artist, currently living and working in Vienna and Bregenz. He graduated within the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Vienna in 2012 with his Thesis „Von Nietzsche zu Paz – Die Kunst als Mittel zur Überwindung der durch Sprache bedingten Subjektivität“. 2014 till 2024 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the class of Daniel Richter as well as in the class of Marina Grzinic. 2018 he studied in the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) in the class for painting and graphics. 2022 till 2023 he was curating the showroom of Kosmos Atelier Bregenz.
